Dr. Elizabeth Suarez, M.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Suarez grew up in Newark, New Jersey. She attended Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey where she earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. She then attended Rutgers Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. Dr. Suarez chose family medicine physician as it offered her the opportunity to care for people of all ages.

In December of 2018, Dr. Suarez became an IFM Certified Practitioner for The Institute for Functional Medicine. As an IFM Certified Physician, she is uniquely trained in the Functional Medicine model to identify and treat the root causes of chronic diseases. She focuses on pediatric development, women’s health, hormonal imbalances, nutritional assessments, autoimmune disorders, and many other modalities. Her primary goal for patients is to maximize wellness which may require multiple treatment approaches such as lifestyle changes, nutritional support, exercise, and traditional medicinal treatments.

She and her husband Phillip have lived in College Station with their daughter since 2004 and have grown to see Aggieland as her home.
