Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you accept insurance or what if I already have an existing insurance plan?

Our #1 goal at doc is to provide high quality healthcare, at an affordable and transparent price. To be able to keep our prices affordable for our patients, we keep out the middleman (and necessary billing staff)  by not working directly with insurance providers at this time. We keep our prices comparable to many co-pays and there are no future bills to worry about!

Many of our patients have existing health insurance plans (ie, BCBS, UHC, Aetna, etc.) but still choose to use doc for the convenience and our transparency in pricing. If you have one of these plans, doc can provide you with a superbill if desired. You can then try and submit it to your insurance company. Appointments can be paid with a HSA/FSA card in most instances, depending on the plan itself.

Patients can use traditional insurance for vaccines and most lab tests.

2. How do you make an appointment?

3. What forms of payment do you accept?

We can take credit cards (including most HSA cards, Flex Spending Accounts, etc.), checks, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo (@Dochealth).

4. Can you write a note for school or work?

We can easily write work or school excuses for patients we have seen.
